I'm writing today with a heavy heart. Thinking about this world without Dolly in it, just seems wrong. She was a tiny woman but her light was so bright and shone so far, it made her a giant. I've been watching a lot of commentary on her life and accomplishments, and honestly just feeling so impressed learning even more things about how amazing she was. This morning I saw the Royal palace guards in England do a tribute to her and my heart clenched, she accomplished everything she set out to do and more, and she did all that while always remaining kind, and grateful. We can all be a little more like Dolly. She was also a wonderful reminder that a persons outer looks do not determine their inner worth or demeanor. She was often written off as a dumb bimbo when she was younger, but she just did her thing, with grace and proved everybody wrong while refusing to change herself for anybody. I for one will always love Dolly.
